"Kindness is doing what you can, where you are, with what you have, because of who you are."
The RI Acts of Kindness is an advocacy movement which celebrates both small acts of daily kindness and big actions which impact the larger community. in line with the Rafflesian ethos of service to others, it is a whole-school movement where Rafflesians and staff will be encouraged to contribute stories of kindness which they have experienced or received, and share how it has inspired them to pay it forward. Through this, Rafflesians recognise and practise kindness, creating a ripple effect of doing good and a culture of gratitude. Beyond daily individual acts, Rafflesians will also be encouraged to initiate projects to advocate for kindness in the wider community, such as kindness in cyberspace, kindness on public transport, etc.
As part of the movement to promote acts of service, we will feature kindness stories.
